(RFID World Canada) BlueStar, a global distributor in POS, RFID and security technology solutions announced that it has created a distribution agreement with Intermec for the Canadian and American market. Intermec is a manufacturer of bar code printers, labels media and radio frequency ID products. Intermec products at BlueStar will be available to resellers in Canada and US beginning October 2010.
“The addition of BlueStar will help Intermec increase market share and accelerate growth for new resellers,” said Scott Anderson, Intermec’s VP of global channels. “Intermec’s deep industry knowledge, strong sales support and compelling PartnerNet program features should be attractive to resellers looking to achieve greater results.”
BlueStar will assist in marketing the Intermec PartnerNet program through its North American FUSION program. BlueStar will also provide specific Intermec products in its ‘in-a-box’ solutions series. This will provide hardware, software and important accessories in a single package alongside BlueStars’ other technology solutions.
