LuluLemon given “Best Retail RFID Implementation” award at RFID Journal Live 2017

Tyco Retail Solutions congratulates customer LuluLemon with the industry recognition award of being the winner in the category of “Best Retail RFID Implementation” in the 11th annual RFID Journal Awards 2017. The award, presented at the RFID Journal LIVE! 2017 Conference and Exhibition in Phoenix, AZ, honors the retailer that demonstrates the best use of RFID technology to improve its store or supply chain operations. LuluLemon leveraged RFID technology to drive inventory accuracy and visibility to enhance their guest experience and create easy transactions for today’s omni-channel shoppers.

LuluLemon states that inventory accuracy is very foundational to their primary goal, delivering the best guest experience with their brand. With implementing an RFID solution, they leverage real-time, accurate inventory visibility and the ability to easily locate products for each one of their guests. This can only be accomplished with RFID technology. LuluLemon realizes that RFID also helps to streamline store operational processes.

LuluLemon has rolled out Tyco’s TrueVUE RFID Inventory Visibility solution to every one of their 300 North American stores. This solution accurately reports real-time inventory on-hand by location to their in-store educators and guests, as well as their online shoppers. Every item in the product selection has the visibility at any given time. Having merchandise available anytime, anywhere, is essential to elevating LuluLemon’s guest experience and drives the “buy online, pick up in store” initiative guests really appreciate.

“Leveraging smart technology, such as RFID, is critical to success in the age of retail transformation,” said Tony D’Onofrio, Chief Customer Officer of Tyco Retail Solutions. “It’s an honor to work with an innovative retailer like LuluLemon who embraces this notion to create a seamless, personalized shopping experience for their valued guests in today’s very connected, always-on, always-open world of unified commerce. The recognition by RFID Journal is well deserved.”
