Daily RFID

(RFIDWorld.ca) – Daily RFID launched a new RFID system which allows tags to be mounted onto glass including windshields to track and monitor vehicle movement. The RFID tags can be installed onto any glass surface and helps in automated vehicle identification.

With a reading distance of up to 15 meters, the windshield tag has a frequency range of 902 MHz to 928 MHz or 668 MHz. It supports ISO 1800-6B or EPC Gen2 protocols and offers very accurate detection levels.

When manufactured, the chip is sealed in ABS housing material, which can protect the tag in a temperature ranging from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius which is equivalent to -4 to 122 Fahrenheit. The tags come in a standard white colour or can be customized with a printed logo on it.

Due to the above features, the windshield tags can be suitable for use in gated communities, secured parking plazas or in any other place vehicle tracking is required.
